I help beginners learn to play piano and create their own music — even if they’ve never played before.
After 15+ years of teaching, I’ve learned that musical confidence doesn’t come from talent — it comes from doing.
Most people just need someone to break things down clearly, show them how music works, and encourage them to explore their own musical ideas.
That’s how I teach — helping you build real piano skills while also learning how to make music that’s yours.
✨MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I believe music isn’t just something to play, it’s something to make.
In my lessons, we focus on building the skills to play confidently and create your own music from the very beginning.
That might mean improvising with a simple chord pattern, sketching your first melody, or learning how harmony works by trying it out yourself — not just memorising rules.
You don’t need to be a “natural” to do this. You just need the right guidance, space to explore, and a bit of momentum.
My job is to help you stay inspired, develop real fluency at the piano, and bring your musical ideas to life.
🎵 WHEN I'M NOT TEACHING…
I’ve always loved melodic dance music, and this shows up in the electronic music I produce.
Most of my tracks start at the piano — sketching ideas, shaping harmony, and building emotional flow, using the piano as a source of inspiration.
This creative process constantly feeds into how I teach. Whether it’s a new way to explain chord movement or a melodic pattern that sparks inspiration, the insights I gain while composing and producing directly shape the piano lessons I give.
I don’t separate “teaching” from “making music” — I use one to strengthen the other.
